Arwenack
How old is the building and what is its history? Thanks to the developers it has been researched and can be viewed here. The ‘new’ frontage forming the Admiral Nelson dates from before 1880 due to it’s construction. This was probably built due to the new docks and railway both of which arrived around the 1860’s. The Admiral Nelson, Armyn House, Railway Cottages and Bar road houses form an area of Falmouth well over 100 years old.
Note that houses in Bar Terrace are Listed yet are probably newer!

1.6.3 The Admiral Nelson and the former stable are both constructed
out of local stone rubble with later brick additions, alterations
and repairs. The form of construction of these two buildings
suggests that they predate the 1880 Ordnance Survey, but they
are not shown on the published map.
